We’re hiring a Graphic / Motion Designer to join HabitNu’s India launch and own creative execution across print, social, digital, web and live channels.You’ll craft visual systems, motion assets, and campaign creative that scale our brand and drive engagement — a high-impact, hands-on role based in Bengaluru.
What You’ll Do
- Design versatile visual assets across touch points: marketing website, digital campaigns, social, email, print collateral, packaging, events, and merch.
- Create motion and animated content for ads, social, micro-videos, product explainers, and in-app experiences.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, illustration style and an asset library to ensure visual consistency.
- Storyboard, concept and execute short-form and long-form motion pieces; handle editing, compositing, and delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Growth, and Design to translate briefs into measurable creative that supports acquisition, activation and retention goals.
- Own projects from brief → iteration → delivery: plan timelines, iterate on feedback, and ensure high quality final assets.
- Optimize creative for platform-specific constraints and performance (file size, runtime, aspect ratios, accessibility).
- Run creative A/B tests, analyze performance signals, and refine assets based on data.
- Mentor/juggle external vendors and freelancers when needed for takeaways or larger video shoots.
- Contribute to a culture of design critique, process improvements, and staying current with design & motion trends.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of professional experience in graphic + motion design, ideally at startups or fast-growing brands where you shipped end-to-end creative.
- Strong foundation in design fundamentals — typography, layout, hierarchy, color, composition — applied across print, web, and screen.
- Proven motion design experience: storyboarding, timing, easing, compositing, and delivering for web & social.
- Portfolio that demonstrates a range of static and motion work across contemporary marketing formats.
- Hands-on proficiency with core tools and software: listed tools are for reference
– Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Lightroom)
– Motion & animation tooling (After Effects + Bodymovin/Lottie export, Mocha/planar tracker)
– UI & collaboration tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
– Video/3D tooling (Cinema 4D or Blender; DaVinci Resolve or equivalent for color/edit)
– Prototyping/interaction tools (Principle, Framer, ProtoPie)
– Familiarity with Lottie, GIF optimization, and platform export pipelines for social/ad networks
– Basic HTML/CSS fluency for motion-on-web handoffs is a plus - Comfortable delivering production-ready files and managing versioning, naming conventions, and handoffs to marketing ops.
- Excellent cross-functional communication — able to explain design choices, accept feedback, and translate business goals into creative solutions.
- Strong time management: can handle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
- Degree or postgrad in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics or related field.
- Experience working within brand systems for healthcare, wellness, or regulated industries (advantageous).
- Experience creating illustration libraries, icon systems, or motion design systems.
- Experience with production shoots, direction, or coordinating external studios.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices for visual and motion design.
